Miss Laney is the speech teacher. When she's just hired, Mr. Klutz said that there aren't much budget, so Ella Mentry Elementary School would be closed in June. Everybody was really upset.
Miss Laney then took the speech lessons in the girl's room. She tried to put on a play to raise money, but she's fired before she could put it on.
Finally, Mr. Klutz was fired. But just before that, he let the whole school watch TV. Miss Laney was on TV, answering questions nd eating bugs. Finally, she raised a million dollars to save the school.
